Choosing to Trust
Posted on March 16, 2014
This Lent, our youngest child, Pete, is showing more interest in our family’s Lenten activities now that he’s reached the ripe age of 4 1/2. His endless array of questions and unbridled, youthful trust played into my thoughts as I recently wrote about some of my own questions for a column on faith in our local newspaper. As I continue on my Lenten journey and reflect on my endless array of questions, I pray my doubts and need for answers are replaced with trust in God. And, may I remember that although I deserve nothing, including answers to all my “whys”, I receive everything I need through His grace.
May your Lent be fruitful!
